The things people actually ask.

20 straight answers about Tiffin Service Dubai — what a month costs, what is in the box, how to stop, and the awkward ones. If something you need is not here, message us and we will add it.

What exactly is a tiffin?
A tiffin is a daily box of cooked food, delivered to your home or office. A Tiffin Service Dubai tiffin is roti, a vegetable dish, dal, rice and kachumber salad — the meal you would eat at home on a weekday, not a restaurant plate. It arrives six days a week, Monday to Saturday, anywhere in Dubai.
How much does a tiffin service cost in Dubai?
Tiffin Service Dubai charges AED 349 a month for the Everyday Dabba — 26 lunches, six days a week — which works out at AED 13.42 a meal. The Full Dabba is AED 449 a month and the Ghar Ka Dabba, lunch and dinner both, is AED 749. A meat main adds AED 60 to AED 120 a month depending on the box, and a Monday-to-Friday plan starts at AED 309. Delivery is included everywhere in Dubai, there is no zone surcharge and no service fee, and we are not VAT-registered so no VAT is added.
Is there a trial?
Yes. Tiffin Service Dubai runs a trial of 6 lunches for AED 89 — AED 14.83 a meal — with nothing to commit to afterwards. If you carry on, that AED 89 comes off your first month. It is a credit rather than a discount, so you never pay twice for the same food.
Do I have to commit to a whole month?
No. You can start with 6 lunches for AED 89 and decide afterwards. On a monthly plan with Tiffin Service Dubai you can stop whenever you like and we refund the days you have not eaten. There is no lock-in period. Cancelling takes two days' notice, because the food is bought and cooked in batches, and we refund every box you have paid for and not received.
How do I start?
Send one WhatsApp message to Tiffin Service Dubai on +971 55 713 3786 with your area, your building and which box you want. We confirm your start date and your first delivery goes out the next working day. There is no form to fill in and no account to make.
How quickly can delivery start?
The next working day. Tiffin Service Dubai confirms your area, building and plan over WhatsApp, and the first box goes out the following working day — there is no onboarding period and no minimum notice. Deliveries run Monday to Saturday, so an order placed on a Saturday starts on the Monday.
Can I see the menu before I pay?
All of it. Tiffin Service Dubai publishes the complete four-week rotation — 24 cooking days, every dish named, allergens on every day, and no two boxes the same — at tiffinservice.ae/menu/, before anyone pays anything. You should not have to buy a month of food to find out what is in it.
Is the food halal?
Yes. All meat and poultry we use is halal, bought from Dubai Municipality-licensed suppliers with halal slaughter certification, and we do not handle pork or alcohol in our kitchen. We do not hold a halal certificate of our own and do not claim one.
I am vegetarian. Is the whole thing veg?
The Tiffin Service Dubai vegetarian plan is vegetarian on all 24 days of the rotation — no meat in the box on any day, in any week. On the non-veg plan a meat main replaces the gravy dish on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; Tuesday and Thursday are vegetarian for everyone, every week.
Do you do Jain food?
Not properly, and we would rather say so. We can cook no-onion-no-garlic as a separate batch for +AED 30 a month. True Jain cooking excludes every root vegetable and needs separate surfaces, utensils and oil — if that is what you need, we are not the right service for you yet.
What if I have an allergy?
Every day on the menu carries its allergen tags. But we cook wheat, dairy, nuts, sesame and mustard in the same kitchen every day, so we cannot promise there is no trace of an ingredient. Tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can serve you safely.
How spicy is it?
Three levels: Mild, Home and Teekha. Home is the default and is how it would be cooked at home, not restaurant-hot. Tiffin Service Dubai cooks spice per batch rather than per box, so we cap it at three levels rather than promising per-dish heat we cannot deliver.
Do you deliver to Business Bay, Dubai Marina, JLT or Silicon Oasis?
Yes — to all four, and to every other community in Dubai, at the same monthly price. Tiffin Service Dubai cooks in Bur Dubai and Business Bay, so those two and everything around them get the shortest run of the day. There is no zone surcharge and no minimum distance: the price on the plans page is the whole price wherever your building is.
Do you deliver to my building?
Almost certainly. Tiffin Service Dubai delivers across the whole of Dubai, and the list on the delivery areas page is a sample of where we go rather than a boundary. Send your area and your building on WhatsApp and we will confirm your delivery window before you start.
Do you deliver on Fridays?
Yes. Tiffin Service Dubai delivers six days a week, Monday to Saturday, and Sunday is the one day nothing goes out. Friday is the rice day in every week of the rotation — Veg Biryani, Bisi Bele Bath, Tahari and Paneer Pulao across the four weeks — with raita in the box and no separate dry sabzi or dal that day. On the Full Dabba the Friday box also carries a sweet.
What happens if I travel?
Tell Tiffin Service Dubai two days ahead and those days move to the end of your month. You paid for boxes, not for dates.
What if the food is wrong or does not arrive?
Tell Tiffin Service Dubai the same day and we refund that box or replace it. Wrong order, missing items, or food that arrives in a state you would not eat is our problem, not yours — and under UAE consumer law that is your right, not a favour.
Why is roti hard by the time it reaches me?
Because a chapati goes hard within about forty-five minutes and no packaging fully stops it. We brush with ghee and wrap in foil, which buys time, and on two days a week we send paratha instead because it travels better. Anyone claiming their roti arrives fresh after an hour is telling you something untrue.
How do I pay?
Cash or bank transfer to Tiffin Service Dubai, after your first week has arrived and you have eaten it. You get a receipt for every payment. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged.
How do I reach a person?
WhatsApp Tiffin Service Dubai on +971 55 713 3786, 9am to 9pm. A real person answers, and it is the same number for orders, changes and complaints.
